DUE TO CONCERNS ABOUT THE CORONAVIRUS, THE SCIENCE OF SPIRITUALITY INTERNATIONAL MEDITATION CENTER IS CURRENTLY CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
While the organization has existed on the same grounds in Lisle since 1991, this new Center was inaugurated in July 2018, in a ceremony that was attended by over 3500 visitors from 30 countries. Delegates from the US Senate, the US House of Representatives, the Villages of Lisle, Wheaton and Naperville came together to open its doors to the global community.
Since its inauguration, tens of thousands have availed of its facilities and the many workshops, retreats and 6-week courses that are offered here. All programs at the Science of Spirituality center are offered at no charge.

The Science of Spirituality International Meditation Center
A Haven of Peace and Tranquility
Architecturally inspired by its spiritual mission, and steeped in spiritual symbolism, the Science of Spirituality International Meditation Center was designed to invoke a sense of calm and peace in the hearts of all who walk through its doors.
The entrance, shaped in a semi-circle, is symbolic of open arms reaching out to embrace the visitor.
The eye-catching golden-colored circular main building is designed in the form of folded hands lifted in gratitude for the many gifts showered upon us.
The serenity of the large lobby invites the visitor to pause and enjoy the present moment.
The quiet majesty of the oval-shaped Main Hall accommodates over 1200 visitors. Its stunning engineering provides unobstructed views of the stage from every seat.
With a capacity of 500, the state-of-the-art dining hall offers an opportunity for people from all walks of life to sit together and share a meal after spiritual gatherings.
Built on a separate foundation from the rest of the building to rule out all external disturbances, the sanctuary is dedicated solely to meditation

Programs & Events
at the International Meditation Center
The Science of Spirituality International Meditation Center offers various programs, workshops and classes.
Since the center’s inauguration in July 2018, tens of thousands have availed of its facilities and the many workshops, retreats and six-week courses that are offered here. In the extended courses, students learn the meditation technique and develop the habit of a daily meditation practice.
Cooking demos are presented by well-known and reputed chefs from around the world. Here, visitors have an opportunity to expand horizons about the benefits of vegetarianism, while also acquiring new cooking skills and recipes.
The center also hosts health symposia each month, with physicians, authors, health experts from all over the country who share research, data and learnings about the importance of a plant based vegetarian diet.
Spiritual Talks with Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj
at the International Meditation Center
On Sunday afternoons, when he is in the Chicagoland area, Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj delivers a spiritual talk in the Main Hall. Attendees to these talks can expect to broaden their spiritual horizons and meet other like-minded individuals who travel from around the world to attend these sessions. All talks are followed by an opportunity to sit in meditation and experience the bliss within.

Personal Transformation Through Meditation
Curious about the transformative power of meditation? This class explores the many ways in which meditation can change our lives. The curriculum explores the six qualities of the empowered soul that we can experience as we nourish the soul through meditation.
Learn to Meditate
Whether you are a novice or an experienced meditator, this six-session series will lead you step-by-step to more focused and deeper meditations. In each session, you will have ample time to meditate.
Spiritual Awareness Series
Ever wondered if there is more to this life than meets the eye? Is there more to us than the body and the mind? In this series, we gather to explore the different dimensions of our existence and learn the technique to become aware of our spiritual nature. Come prepared for fascinating glimpses into your true self.

Spiritual Book Club
Join us for a Book Study Group in the beautiful library at the Science of Spirituality International Meditation Center. We meet twice monthly on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month to read and discuss books on spirituality and meditation. Each session includes a meditation period. You are welcome to attend each meeting or drop in whenever you can.
Veggie Fest Presents
The Veggie Fest Presents series of programs offers cooking demonstrations, talks on how to transition to a plant-based diet, and celebrity speakers’ events where doctors and specialists provide the latest research on the health benefits of a plant-based diet. Classes are offered in multiple languages.
Yoga
Participants in this yoga class will be guided through a variety of postures to help develop physical flexibility, strength and balance. The class concludes with a short meditation sitting. Bring a yoga mat and wear comfortable clothing.
